Las Encinas Hospital’s Assessment and Referral team is focused on ensuring that each person’s admission process is a smooth and easy experience. They also want each person and their family to feel comfortable and knowledgeable about the hospitalization process.
Our team will walk you through the verification of benefits process to help you understand what is covered and what is not covered by your insurance. They perform a clinical intake that includes a thorough assessment of the patient's current condition, including any withdrawal risks, psychiatric symptoms, medication and hospitalization history, and other co-occurring conditions. Our doctors build a specialized treatment plans for each patient based on their assessment results. A treatment team is assigned to each patient for the duration of their stay and patients are assigned to a room within one of many units, based on acuity, gender, and any other circumstances of importance.
