Las Encinas Hospital, located in Pasadena, California, is an acute psychiatric facility situated on a tranquil 25 acre campus, consisting of sprawling lawns, shade trees, plants and lush gardens. Our highly structured and comprehensive programs provide the very best in mental health care. Accredited by the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and recognized as a Top Performer for hospital-based inpatient psychiatric care, Las Encinas offers specialized programs designed to provide stabilization and treatment for adults ages 18 and up.
Las Encinas is also well-known for The Briar Program, a longer-term residential treatment program specializing in the recovery from substance use disorder (SUD). In addition, we offer several intensive outpatient program (IOP) tracks, such as our Older Adults Program for those who still require structured treatment in an outpatient setting. Our Restore To Wellness Program for College Students is designed to help students who are struggling with psychiatric or substance use issues causing them to have difficulty concentrating on academics. The dual-diagnosis IOP is focused on individuals who have a primary substance use disorder, but may also have a mental health issue that creates challenges in their recovery.
Dedicated to community outreach, Las Encinas is always dedicated to being a critical resource for individuals and families of the communities we serve. We partner with community organizations and other resources to assist our patients and families in their aftercare. We also look to our community leaders and representatives to collaborate in the effort of helping individuals and families who are struggling with mental health challenges, and create a safe, healing environment that they can rely on for quality care.
