Las Encinas Hospital is an acute psychiatric facility located in Pasadena, California, and situated on a tranquil 25-acre campus with sprawling lawns, shady oak trees, plants and lush gardens. Our highly structured and comprehensive programs provide the very best in mental health care. Accredited by the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and recognized as a Top Performer for hospital-based inpatient psychiatric care, Las Encinas offers specialized programs designed to provide stabilization and treatment for adults ages 18 and up.
Las Encinas is also well-known for The Briar Program, a residential treatment program specializing in the recovery from substance use disorder (SUD). In addition, we offer several Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) tracks, including our Mental Health IOP, Seniors Live Well IOP, Restore to Wellness Program for College Students, and our Grief & Loss IOP. In addition, the dual-diagnosis IOP is focused on individuals who have a primary substance use disorder but may also have a mental health issue that creates challenges in their recovery. Other specialized programs are also available.
Dedicated to community outreach, Las Encinas is always focused on being a critical resource for individuals and families of the communities we serve. We partner with organizations and other community resources to assist our patients and families in their aftercare. We also look to our community leaders and representatives to collaborate in the effort of helping individuals and families who are struggling with mental health challenges, and create a safe, healing environment they can rely on for exceptional care.
