Job Opportunities

Provides religious/spiritual counseling and guidance to patients, family members, and hospital employees as requested. Develops both inpatient and outpatient groups to focus on how the spiritual dimensions of the individualís life can be of positive support in their recovery from psychiatric illness as well as how it may have hindered them in the past. Is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team to help educate the hospital staff regarding proper assessment of the spiritual needs of patients. acilitates a liaison relationship between the hospital and spiritual/religious related community resources. Upon requests helps patients connect with their faith communities as well as providing resources where they can receive continuing spiritual/religious support as part of their aftercare plan. Educates community spiritual/religious organizations about the hospitalís services. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Ordination and Ecclesiastical endorsement is required. Four (4) units of Clinical Pastoral Education and Certification by the Association of Professional Chaplains are preferred. Must have expertise in the understanding of how to provide religious/spiritual support in the context of serious mental illness. Must have working knowledge of the general practices of diverse faith traditions and be respectful of diverse belief systems. Is able to facilitate spiritual care in a multicultural and multifaith context.
Food Service Worker
Employee performs simple manual work in maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen. Work involves thorough cleaning of equipment and facilities to conform to proper sanitation standards.Duties to include but not limited to: Washing pots, pans and traps; maintains neat appearance of working areas and cleaning equipment storage areas. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors. Cleans garbage cans. Washes worktables, walls and refrigerators. Assists in dish room, operating dish machine. Assemble patient trays. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous Healthcare experience preferred. Must provide Serv-Safe Food Handler Certification. Various shifts and weekends.
Administrative Nursing Supervisor
Nursing Supervisor assumes administrative responsibility for the management of all nursing services functions during the assigned shift throughout the hospital. Candidate will have experience in staffing of nursing personnel and implementation of performance improvement goals; knowledge of Patientís Rights, legal status requirements in California and Joint Commission standards; and will have the ability to ensure the safe care of all patients. In the absence of Hospital Administrative staff, this responsibility is extended to all services within the hospital. Current California RN license, CPR, and MAB/CPI. LPS credentialed preferred. Minimum 3 years previous Nursing Supervisor experience. NIGHT SHIFT 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. and Weekends.
Assistant Director of Nursing
-Responsible for assessing the needs, developing, presenting and evaluation orientations, training and educational programs education: BSN required, MSN preferred, BCLS Instructor, preferred. Also, candidate must have RN Psychiatric experience. Varied shifts including weekends. - Masters degree is preferred - BCLS Card - Licensure Required - RN - 3-5 years experience is required
