10 Signs and Symptoms of Depression

Press Release

Depression is a mood disorder that can affect how you think, feel, and act and can lead to a number of emotional and physical problems. Clinical depression is more than feeling sad in response to setbacks and other stressful situations—it can be a persistent feeling of hopelessness.

As with many other mental disorders, depression is not a weakness and you can’t just “get over it.” It’s important that you learn the physical signs of depression so you can receive the treatment that you need.

  • Slowed thinking, speaking, and movement
